How to cite several different pages of the same website
Sometimes we cite several pages of the same website, it is where we have the doubt of how to do it. Here we briefly explain how to do it.
If you cite information from different sections on a website, you should create a unique reference for each one. In this way the reader will find its exact source. The reference list contains multiple references with similar but different URLs.
If we are writing an article on Division 47 (Exercise and Sport Psychology) of the American Psychological Association (APA). It begins by providing basic information about WHAT and on APA divisions, and then provides more detailed information on Division 47. In the process, you can quote or paraphrase from multiple pages on the APA website, and your reference list would include a unique reference for each.
Example:
American Psychological Association. (nd-a). Divisions Obtained from http:
American Psychological Association. (nd-b). Exercise and sport psychology. Retrieved from http:
In-text citations
When you quote directly from a web page, be sure to include the paragraph number, rather than a page number, with the in-text quote. You can also include a paragraph number by paraphrasing. This will help readers locate the part of the page that you trust.
